Store wood chips in original packaging. Do not store in an airtight container, as they require proper airflow to prevent mildew. After use, extinguish your chips safely and allow to cool completely before disposing in your garbage or garden beds.
CAUTION: HOT, DO NOT TOUCH. Handle with oven mitts or tongs. After use, allow the smoker box to cool completely. Wash out ash and charred wood chips with warm soapy water. Dishwasher safe. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before storing. It is normal that the smoker box will look charred after proper cleaning.
Do not leave the thermometer in the meat during the entire grilling process. To avoid damaging the thermometer, check meat temperature periodically and efficiently. Clean immediately with a damp towel. Never place the thermometer in the dishwasher or submerge it in water as it can damage the thermometer as well as affect its reading accuracy. Allow to dry completely before storing.
Hickory Smoked Sea Salt
Reseal package after use to prevent the salt from caking. Store in a clean, cool, dry environment. This smoked sea salt has a shelf life of approximately 10 years.
